Norway 1:50.000, 1:250.000, seamless map, download free For Norway we offer this excellent and up to date TopoMap 1:50.000 und 1:250.000 scale, incl. high resolution elevation data (25m), free for download. Each scale is a seamless map, covering the entire landscape of continental Norway. You find the download link within the respective item text in our online shop. Simply enter "Norway" in the search field at our online shop. You need to download all three zip archives. Start unpacking using the file "F00001_Norge_Topo_50k.zip.001", the other two files will then automatically be unpacked too. In the resulting folder you will find a setup file. Execute it and this will start the installation of the map. The download volume of all three files is around 11GB. These maps can only be used with a licenced version of QuoVadis7.2 or better.  Denmark 1:25.000, 1:200.000, seamless map, download free For Denmark we offer this excellent and up to date TopoMap 1:25.000 und 1:200.000 scale. Each scale is a seamless map, covering the entire landscape of continental Denmark. You find the download link within the respective item text in our online shop. Simply enter "Denmark" in the search field at our online shop. You need to download the file and unpack. Within the resulting folder you will find a setup file. Execute it and this will start the installation of the map. The download volume the file is around 4.1GB. These maps can only be used with a licenced version of QuoVadis7.2 or better.  QV HERE® 2016, maps for routing and street navigation Our partner TELOGIS® provided us the latest map data. All our QV HERE® 2016 maps are now updated. These maps can only be used with a licenced version of QuoVadis7.2 or better. Customers who earlier purchased "QV-NAVTEQ® 2012 Europa Ost-West" oder newer may purchase an upgrade at a reduced price. Our customers who ordered QV HERE® 2014 after 01. September 2015 may contact us for a free upgrade, please contact us directly by e-mail at info@quovadis-gps.com. You find these new mapsets in our online shop, QV-HERE® Vektorkarten  Exclusively for QuoVadis, topo-map Namibia 1:50.000 After several attempts we finaly succeeded getting into contact with the Namibian Land Survey. We were kindly granted access to the map server of the Namibian Land Survey and we were able to select the best available from the different sheets and file formats. Partially these map sheets in 1: 50K are very old and of very poor resolution and scan quality, but there is nothing better available! In the north there are about 200 sheets of more recent design included. We put a lot of work in trying to assemble all those more then 1300 different files into one big, seamless map. Additionally the package includes Namibia-South in 1:100.000scale and entire Namibia in 1:250.000 scale. You find these mapsets at our online shop, Namibia 1:50.000 Topo QV-Map   New main release for QuoVadis 7.2, Changes in DB-Check and scrolling behaviour! Important Information about changes regarding databases in QuoVadis 7.2.0.x ! QV 7.2.x.x tries to check better for damaged databases to enable users to continue working, specially when you are on a long trip. For example, it may happen that "GPS online Logs" gets damaged due to heavy usage, oversize or power outages. The rules: - QuoVadis 7.2 will always start, even if a database is damaged, this database will then be ignored. - in case "GPS Online Logs" is damaged, it will be renamed to "GPS Online Logs ERROR" and on next star of QV7.2, automatically a new database by this name is created. - the size of "GPS Online Logs" is supervised. In case it exceeds 50MB you will receive a warning. - it is highly recommended to keep the database "GPS Online Logs" as small as possible. You should frequently move the collected tracks into any other database, i. E. create a database "GPS Online Logs-Archiv" and move all your collected tracks into this one. Then run compress on all your databases in QV-Xplorer. - in general, you should try to repair damaged databases running "compress". Or. if this is not successfull, you should move these databases out of the reach of QuoVadis7.2 or simply delete them. Changes in scrolling behaviour in "Options", "Settings", "Performance", "Quick-settings" This change is valid overall, not only in "GPS online mode". The change of these parameters fps, acceleration und cam-speed causes every keystroke (+,-, arrow) to be directly executed. The risk of threading problems, specially in "GPS-Online Mode" (simultaneous map display, move, zoom, overlay, writing Tracks ...) when the map engine is heavily in use, will be drastically reduced. The disadvantage is, that scrolling the map will happen not in a smooth way, it will appear more in consecutive jumps. In "Options", "Settings", "Performance", "Quick-settings", you may simply switch this behaviour by a single click, i. E. do your planing work at home using the settings "normal" and on your trip, in "GPS online mode", select the setting "safe" to reduce the risk off fauilre. To use the setting "safe" is definitely of advantage while ontour using a highly stressed Car-PC, displaying maps, logging, overlaying, moving, zooming, all at the same time. |
