Internal layers

Internal layers are additional information in the map such as a grid or the dividing line between day and night.

Click on Internal overlay Layer in the map toolbar and select the desired layer:

A loaded layer is marked by a check mark. To deactivate it, click on the entry again. You can also unload a layer in PM in the Internal node.

Shows a grid in the current units on the map:

In Settings - Units you can select some parameters:

Draws a sinusoidal curve that marks the current boundary between day and night on the earth's surface. The sun is always in the middle of the “day” field at the zenith. The position at which the moon is currently at its zenith is also marked. The symbol of the moon is according to the current phase.

The layer updates itself automatically every minute.
