Manual import of individual maps. If you want to import maps bought in the QV-Shop, please see here.

Alternatively

Drag and drop the map file from the Windows Explorer or Mac Finder into the desired map table (drag&drop)
Info opens
Click save

Hints for certain card types:

QBR topo cards	These consist of very many *.QBR files in one folder. There can be thousands. The folder and the contained files belong together. To import, select a single, arbitrary QBR file and import it as described above.
HERE vector maps	For HERE packages, you must import the *.QGBFS files as described above. This will import them as map and automatically as RoutingDB.
